Q: How did you feel when you found out you had won the award?

A: Shocked to be honest, but in a good way! Being a relatively new business developing small scale bungalow developments we thought that gaining any awards would be beyond our reach. Although our combined idea for the company is to build and handover quality properties rather than quantity, I was completely shocked and proud to have both been nominated and to have won the area award.

Q: What does it mean to you personally?

A: I am very proud to have achieved this, although it does take a great team both in our office and on site to achieve what we do. As far as I'm concerned, we all contributed to gaining this award.

Q: What does it mean for your team / business?

A: For such a young company this means a great deal. It creates confidence to prospective purchasers to know that we building to a high standard which is recognised by LABC Warranty. We have proudly advertised our award on the front page of our website.

Q: What makes a good Site Manager?

A: For me - treating people on site with respect. If you do this, then you get respect in return. Setting the standards from day one so everyone knows what I respect, both in terms of site tidiness and high-quality standards. A good Site Manager also listens to ideas from the trades.

Q: What one success in your work are you most proud of and why?

A: Gaining exceptional sub-contractors, as without them this award would not have been won!
